This Privacy Policy is prepared by PitGrowth LLC (hereinafter referred to as “PitGrowth”, “Company”, “We”, or “Platform”), a company incorporated under the laws of the United States, acting as the Data Controller in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), and other relevant international data protection regulations. This policy applies to personal data collected through the www.pitgrowth.com website, its subdomains, and any related mobile applications (iOS/Android) operated by PitGrowth.
2. What Personal Data Do We Collect?
When you create an account, update your profile, or use the PitGrowth platform, we collect the following categories of data:
- Identity and Professional Data: First name, last name, job title, company, industry interests, survey/questionnaire responses, and professional network profile URLs.
- Contact Data: Email address and (if optionally provided by the user) mobile phone number.
- Third-Party Authentication Data (SSO): If you register using your Google, Microsoft, or LinkedIn accounts (Single Sign-On); your basic profile information that you authorize these providers to share with us.
- System and Transaction Security Data: Your IP address, log records, device information, and password information (kept in a hashed/encrypted format).
3. Purposes and Legal Grounds for Processing Your Personal Data
Your collected personal data is processed for the following purposes and based on the legal grounds stipulated in the relevant data protection laws (Article 5 of the KVKK and Article 6 of the GDPR):
A. For the Establishment or Performance of a Contract
- Creating a user account and providing access to the platform features,
- Managing your selected subscription model and invoicing processes.
B. For the Legitimate Interests of the Data Controller and Building a B2B Network
- Networking and Matchmaking: PitGrowth is a Business-to-Business (B2B) discovery and professional networking platform. In this context, the professional and contact data you voluntarily add to the platform is made accessible to other verified platform users with applicable memberships, for the fundamental purpose of the platform: enabling corporate matchmaking, creating investment/collaboration opportunities, and facilitating B2B communication.
- Public Data Collection and Company Profiles: To build our B2B networking ecosystem, PitGrowth may seamlessly generate company profiles using information sourced from publicly available domains. Processing this public data is based on our legitimate interest to maximize visibility and networking opportunities within the business community. Authorized representatives of these companies can “claim” their profiles to manage them or request their removal/deactivation from the Platform at any time.
4. International Data Transfers and the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Although PitGrowth LLC is a US company, the platform's main database is securely hosted on servers located in Turkey. However, within the scope of our innovative services, your data may be transferred abroad under the following circumstances:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) Infrastructure: Our smart in-platform search (Semantic Search) and matchmaking algorithms operate using industry-leading third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud infrastructures (overseas servers). This process is carried out under the “Standard Contractual Clauses” (SCCs) signed in accordance with the updated legal regulations in Article 9 of the KVKK and the compliance safeguards of Chapter 5 of the GDPR.
- AI Transparency (EU AI Act Compliant): In accordance with Article 50 of the European Union Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act), our users are transparently informed that the search and matchmaking features on the platform are AI-assisted. Your data is not used by these third-party AI providers to train their own core models.
(Note: Data processed through external third-party appointment or scheduling links, which you add to your profile on your own initiative, is directly subject to the privacy policies of those respective third-party platforms.)
5. Data Retention Period
PitGrowth retains processed personal data only for the period required by the purpose of processing or for the legal retention periods stipulated by law. When you delete your account on the platform, all your professional profile and contact data—except for data that must be legally retained due to our statutory obligations (e.g., invoice records)—is permanently deleted from our systems or rendered irreversibly anonymous.
6. User Rights (Under KVKK Art. 11 and GDPR Chapter 3)
As a PitGrowth user, you have the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is processed, the purpose of processing, and its domestic/international transfers,
- To request the correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurate (You can do this directly from your profile settings),
- To request the deletion of your personal data under the conditions stipulated by law (Right to be Forgotten),
- To object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing your processed data exclusively through automated systems (e.g., Artificial Intelligence),
- To withdraw or disable your consent for the visibility of your contact information to other members at any time via the user interface.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

8. Data Security
PitGrowth takes industry-standard technical measures to protect your data. SSL/TLS encryption technologies are used in data transfers, and your passwords are kept in our systems using a “hash” (encrypted) method. Users are also responsible for their own account security (e.g., using strong passwords).
9. Children's Privacy (Under COPPA and GDPR)
PitGrowth is a B2B professional platform, and our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18 (or the legal age of majority in your country of residence). We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If we become aware of such a situation, the relevant data will be deleted immediately.
10. US State Laws and California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you reside in the United States, California, or any other relevant US states, you have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. PitGrowth does not traditionally “sell” your personal data to data brokers. Only the professional information you add to your profile is shown to other members for B2B matchmaking purposes. However, under the legal definition of “sharing”, you can use your right to “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” at any time by turning off the visibility of your profile from your account settings.
11. Changes to the Privacy Policy
PitGrowth LLC may update this Privacy Policy in response to changes in legal regulations or new features added to the platform. Significant changes will be notified to you via the platform or via email.
